My Daybook #20

Today is...
August 5th, 2010 (Yes, I know I am a day late...but it was a busy day yesterday)

Outside My Window...
Rainy and 85 Degrees. It's Muggy. Ugh.

I am Thinking...
about my apartment and how upset I am that it's a mess. Oh well. Bee said he'd go with me Sunday and we'll clean it, bleach the hell out of EVERYTHING, pack up my stuff and take it back to his house so that we only have furniture on Moving day that's left. So far, I have 98% of my clothes at Bee's. Do you realize how NICE it is to have my full wardrobe to choose from everyday? Well, It's nice :) The Dining Room of Doom is all packed. The kitchen is mostly packed, but I am holding off on anything more because we still have to eat between now and August 13th. Basement of Horror is done with the exception of a few books, and our washer and dryer, and bee's hoodies that are hung up down there. I think we'll start being the "keep" stuff up stairs tonight. All we really have left is the living room, and the bedrooms. Which, I think we will kinda just pack up as we go along on moving day because living room and bed room stuff is used everyday. Oh! And bathroom stuff. I am still super stressed, but I have an end date to focus on, so I am dealing with it better. Yesterday, I got our Electric set up and Direct TV! It comes with free NFL Sunday ticket. We are so having football parties at our house on Sundays for the Steelers games :D

I am thankful for...
My Friendship with BFF Rose and being able to move past difficult things. Also my Bee. He's totally stepped up and been my rock the last 4 or 5 days :)

What I have learned this week...
If I let go a little bit, and give him a chance, Bee is quite dependable on his own!

I am wearing...
Jeans, Pink, grey and orange plaid tank top, black shawl sweater with pink, green, blue, and orange pastel beads on the trim, and sandals.

I am creating...
a Home

I am going...
to be moving in 8 days!!! Finally!

I am reading...
contracts. Lots of contracts.

I am hoping...
To get most of our move done in one day. We can unpack as we go the rest of the week.

I am hearing...
People talking. People Typing.

Around the House...
it's a mess! But, I really don't care. It's a mess of boxes. Bee's last game of the season is Saturday. I am excited. Mainly because most of my family and friends are coming to this game. With the exception of my dad and BFF Rose, none have seen him play! On top of it, this team is 0-9 and last time we played them, we killed them. I am hoping we can do it again. I would love for my boys to go out on a win!

One of my Favorite things this week...
Signing our first lease as a couple. Things are no longer "Mine" or "yours". Everything is officially "ours" now. I like that.

A Picture Thought...
Decided to go old school today. This is my sister and I circa 1987, I believe. We were some hot sex kittens. Her with her salty puss and Ronald McDonald hair, and me with my bowl cut a la' HE-MAN hair do. That was mostly, because at that time, I wanted to BE He-man when I grew up...Ah, the 80's.

No good deed goes unpunished.

I went out to my apartment yesterday on my lunch. I needed to pay my rent, check my mail that hasn't been checked in 3 weeks, get a new FOB so I am not charged for it when I hand back the keys and so that I can get around the building when I move. I also figured while I was there, I'd grab the shopping cart they have and use it to transport my 45698456 articles of clothes (you think I'm joking....). I also figured, I'd grab the boxes I still had packed up from before, maybe even my pictures and whatever else I could grab and fit in my car in an hour's time.

Our friend that I had let stay there for the last six weeks gave me the key back on Saturday. I had asked for it earlier in the week, but he said that he wanted to straighten up first, get his dirty laundry he still had there, and grab his laptop. Now, I am a neat freak. Bee's house doesn't show it, but it was trashed before I was in the picture. However, my house is always presentable. It's not like hospital sterile, but no matter what, you could eat off the floor in the two rooms that count for me; the bathroom and the kitchen. When I handed him the keys, I had my apartment in that condition. I understand he has a few things working against him that prevents him from being as clean as me such as A) He's a boy. B) He's a 19 year old boy C) He has a 2 year old son who is a H-A-N-D-F-U-L D) He works a full time job. However, I at least expected it to be returned to be in close to the same condition.

I walked in, and actually cried a little bit. There were raisins all over the floor. Everywhere. Mashed into my carpet, my BEIGE carpet in some places. There were sticky, dirty knee-high hand prints over most of my white walls. My table (Thank GOD for the cheap VINYL tablecloth) had food and what looked like salt and pepper dumped all on it. There was garbage stuffed under my couch. Empty Gatorade bottles and red plastic cups everywhere. My pictures that were in frames on my end tables were shoved under the couch. My bed was all in a disarray. My TOWELS! MY Towels were gone. Just gone. However, that wasn't the worst of it. My kitchen. My kitchen looked like a dirty bomb went off it in. All 8 Sq ft of it. You know how when you cook greasy things that pop and spill all over your stove? Yeah, there was that. I think if I looked hard enough, I could tell you everything he cooked the last six weeks because my stove is a wreck. I haven't even looked in the oven yet...I was afraid, really. My counters had about a 1/2 layer of sticky goo all over them. I am not sure what it was, but I didn't like touching it. There was popcorn, popcorn kernels, crumbs, dirt, and food pieces all over the floor and counter. The sink hadn't been cleaned out since he'd been there. I didn't look in the dishwasher either. Partly because I was afraid, and partly because I was distracted by the....BUGS! Yes. BUGS, Hundreds of those tiny little fruit fly knat things. I think I almost passed out at that point. I was shaking and crying. They were all surrounding en masse this goo dribbled down my cabinet above my fridge. I opened up the cupboard and like 100 more bugs flew out. They were all on a bag that looked like syrup. It at one time was Potatoes.

I was horrified. I spent the next 45 minutes cleaning, best I could in my dress and heels, and limited supplies. I got rid of the rotten food and swept the floor. I went and picked up all the raisins. Threw away most of the trash. Tried to vacuum, but my vacuum was not working for some reason (it worked before...) I just wiped my tears, and grabbed all those clothes and pictures I could and headed for the door. While I totally wanted to stay and return my beloved apartment back to it's original clean state, I didn't have the supplies or the time because I had to get to the bank to get a check for Walt, and get back to work. I then struggled, pissed off, with the shopping cart loaded to the gills (I managed to get all my clothes and pictures that were hanging up with the exception of like 8 hoodies, my coats, and a few pairs of dress pants I never wear that were folded on the top shelf of my closet.) and my little push cart that Bee bought be for Sweetest Day last year, on my way to the car. I was in heels, leggings, plaid "school girl" skirt, tank top and sweater. I missed the elevator twice while trying to maneuver both carts, and struggled getting it all to my car. Many strong, young guys were all along my route, yet no one offered to help. Not that would have let them carry my stuff, but holding the elevator door or the outside door while you are standing right.there. would have been nice...but instead, all they could do was stare at my outfit and make cat calls.

I finally got it all loaded up, got in my car, and drove away. I called Bee in tears. I was upset. He was upset. He told me he'd have a talk with our friend, but that I should also let him know how upset I am. I don't like confrontation, but some things need to be said. I text our friend. Told him how upset I was. How I'd like my towels back (he said he had them to wash them. I said I'd wash them. I didn't care. I just want them back.) How I want the money that he still owes me for staying and how the total lack of respect for me and my things wasn't cool. How I know what I have isn't much...but it's ALL I have and I was trying to help him out and wow, the disrespect. He kinda laughed it off said "I'm sorry" and that was that. I was pretty much upset all day. Hell, I'm STILL upset because now I have to deep clean my apartment. The good news is nothing looked damaged so I hope I can still get my security deposit back. However, if I don't, I have already informed our friend he will owe me that too. I also thanked him for adding one more thing for me to stress over and have to take care of before Bee and I move...

Ugh...if I make it to the end of this month, alive and or without ulcers the size of Texas, I will be amazed. However, should I make it, I plan on having a BBQ/Cookout to celebrate! There will be lots to celebrate too!

Things that Annoy me...

  1. Margaret Thatcher. I have my reasons.
  2. Coldplay
  3. Whining Celebrities
  4. The fact that Lindsay Lohan getting out of jail and going to Rehab because the jail was "overcrowded" is all over the news
  5. The BP Oil spill. Yeah. It sucks. It's a huge mess. It's going to mess up the environment, but it annoys me people are still talking about it every 15 seconds
  6. The News
  7. My Boyfriend's Ex-wife
  8. The fact that my co-worker came in to work today in a bad mood and in the 10 minutes she's been here, lashed out at the 3 of us at least once each. She didn't like how I chewed my ice cube.
  9. Barack Obama
  10. The Fact I am not packed yet. However, I am about as packed as I can be right now at the house because we still have to live there for a week and three days. I haven't got one thing packed from my apartment though. Well, that's not true. I have some stuff packed from a year ago when I moved that I never unpacked. Going out there today at lunch. See how much damage I can do in an hour...

Not losing sleep...

So, I've never been one to hold a grudge. This is true for a few of reasons:

  1. My Mother beat it (sometimes literally) into my head that we are not allowed to hold a grudge because God tells us that he can not forgive us of our sins if we can not forgive others of theirs towards us. I also think there is something in there about a splinter or a log in your eye, and God knows, I don't want that!
  2. It takes way too much energy to stay mad at someone. Especially, someone you love.
  3. I'm lazy
  4. I don't have a good memory, so often I forget why I am even mad.

I have stewed on the whole BFF Rose thing all weekend. Saturday, while I acted calm and collected with her on the phone and reassured her everything would be ok, I was really upset most of the day. As time went on, I got more and more upset, however, after sleeping on it, and talking to a few other people, I've realized that really, BFF Rose and I are way to close to let this tear us apart.

I'm not happy she is dating an ex of mine that actually meant something to me. It WILL be awkward when I have to see them together or hear about them as a couple (We all know we gush to our girls about the boys we're seeing). It's going to be hard, for me to keep a dull tongue when all I want to do is spit venom, but above all, she is my friend. My Best Friend. The only one who has and will stick up for me and or take my side when all others disappeared. She calmly, and patiently listens as I prattle on about my life for hours, with her unable to get a word in edgewise sometimes. And, honestly, I'd miss her too much. We have just too much darn history. *sigh*

In other news, Bee finally help me double team the Basement of Horror yesterday! We cleaned out one whole room and half of another in 2 hours. His ex-wife bought a lot of stuff. I mean, a LOT. It honestly took 2 hours to clean one and a half rooms that were no bigger than 100 Sq FT. There were 4 of us down there. Me, Bee, Young Miss Caitlyn, and "C". Young Miss Caitlyn and I were just grabbing stuff by the armload and stuffing it in garbage bags before Bee or "C" could see what we had. Honestly, I've been coming out to Bee's house for a year and a half now. This stuff on the floor and stacked up down there has been in the same exact spot since the first time I was out there. I doubt he'll miss it.

I have made it a point to get rid of, or put in the pile to give back, anything and everything that was hers that spoke of her personality and or style (Wedding china, dishes, holiday decorations) because I don't want ANYTHING in our new house that speaks of "her" (other than the kids of course, ha!) I want my own stuff. I want my own holiday decorations that 25 years from now Bee and I can look back on with nostalgia and say "Remember when...". However, while digging out the one storage room, Bee found tons of dishes, pots and pans, a Wok, and other serving bowls that were still in packages, never been opened, that he had never even seen before. I couldn't get rid of them. I figured, she'd never used them, and they had never been sat out for anyone to see, I could have them and make them my own. In the long run, I'll end up paying for them anyway because eventually, they are going to come after Bee for the money for the house. If they don't, the foreclosure will be on his credit anyway, which will mean I will have to pay more for things (higher interest rate), or flat out be denied for things, like credit, because we don't qualify (I understand that even if we get married, his debt before me doesn't count against me, but I can't qualify for larger loans on my own, and if he can't qualify as a co-signer...) At any rate, tonight, after I stop off and pay my rent for the last time at my apartment, and maybe grab a few loads of stuff, I am coming home two work on the other half of the one room, and see if I can clean out the pantry. Ah, the joys of nesting.

We got the final word from Walt. We sign the lease Tuesday (tomorrow) and we move in August 13th. I am so excited I could pee. As for Bee, he is excited too. :)

Excuse me as I pull the knife from my back...

I'm upset. I'm upset but I'm torn. Maybe hurt is the correct terminology I am looking for...

BFF Rose and I have been BFF for a long time. Close to 7 or 8 years now. We bonded over the fact that out of our group, we were the most alike. We held values and moral standards that most people had never even heard of. We believed that a parent should watch and interact with their child. Know where they were and supervise them while in their care. We believed that one should work and take care of themselves and have a good handle on that before having kids and that you should pay your bills before spending all of your money at the bar. We used to always say that above all else, you respected one another and didn't do stuff that you know would hurt the other person for your own personal gain.

I have other friends. I am a social person and I get along with just about everyone. People like me! I am not bragging, but I can get along with anyone. however, she is one of my very few friends that I let in. She knows everything about me and I trust her and she trusts me. I can't say we've never fought, because we kinda have, once. but we made it past it. I'd say that's pretty good for 7-8 years of friendship.

We also swore that guys would never come between us. As in most friendships of the closest kind, you swear that all ex-'s and current relationships are off limits. Why? Well, current ones are obvious, but the past ones? Well, it's just out of respect and good manners.

Well, I got a phone call from BBF Rose yesterday asking me if I had a minute to talk. I said I did, as always for her. She was upset and said she had something to tell me and wasn't sure if after she told me I would want to be her friend anymore. She called to tell me that she was dating my ex-boyfriend. Not just any ex, but the ex. The guy who was my first real love. The guy who if you were to ask any of our friends (Including BFF ROSE), or me, I was going to end up married to him. We were the "it" couple. Everyone loved him for me and vice versa. We were happy. Always. We got along. We didn't fight. I was head over heels and it would have appeared he was too. My family and friends were so positive that he was "it" for me (I admit, I was right there with them), that they started saving for my wedding.

Then, one day out of the blue, he called and broke up with me. It DEVASTATED me. BFF Rose was my first phone call. I spent the better part of a week with her. I CRIED over this guy at least once a day for almost a year and after that, well, anytime I'd run into him or find a picture of us, or something we did, I'd get weepy. It wasn't until Bee and I got back together that I even got over him (There was a 2 week window when Bee and I were broken up that I tried to rekindle that relationship...it didn't work) so, to say this didn't sting a little....

Here's the thing. I love her. She is my BFF. She's not perfect, I know. I haven't always been the most perfect friend either. We always swore no guy would come between us, and I feel like it would be my fault if I let that happen. I want her to be happy. I do. She deserves it...and I am always saying she needs to aim higher in her dating life. He is a GREAT guy. A Wonderful boyfriend and would probably treat her better than he did me (not saying he treated me bad at all...but I always felt like he kinda liked her). AND there's the fact that I have Bee. I LOVE Bee and I am so very happy in with him and with our life together that even if she wasn't dating my ex and he came back, wanting to be with me, I would turn him down.

But it still stings.....He, of all people, was off limits. She knew that. She swore she'd never go there...even if I said it was alright...with anyone of m ex's, but especially him....and she went there...

I still want to be friends with her. I still love her. However, I feel betrayed and I have lost some trust for her. I feel like I have so few friends that actually care for me and whatnot, that with this, it's like I feel alone.

I'm sure time will pass and I'll get over it...but it's going to be hard. And Awkward....

Moving and Packing, Moving and Packing..

Last night I stopped off at my favorite store on the way home. Walmart. Hot damn, do I love me some Wally world! I went in with the intention of buying large body-sized, garbage bags and dishwasher soap because if I have to wash dishes by hand, another piece of my soul will die.

$67.00 later, I emerged. Kids need cereal. Milk. Mac-N-Cheese. Bread. Then Bee text me four times while I was in there. "Can you buy me some pop?" "2 liters are fine." "Oh, can you get me like 3 or 4 of them? I go through those things like water!" Which then reminded me, I didn't have any pop at home. However, diet coke was on sale for .98 cents. Diet Dew was $1.50. Then, one last time "Oh! And I need red or blue athletic tape for the game! Thanks Monkee!" Oh well. We're a "Combined Household" now. Better get used to it.

I had intended on making chicken and dumplings for dinner. Yes, I realize it's 90 degrees outside, but we keep the A/C at 72 degrees. That, and I had taken chicken from March of 2009 out of Bee's freezer the day before. It was split, bone-in chicken breast. We don't eat that kind of chicken. Well, at least I don't. Therefore I don't really know any recipes in which I would look forward to eating that would be worth my while. Then I remembered mom always made chicken and dumplings with left over chicken! I called mom and got her recipe and bought the two ingredients I needed to make it (bullion cubes and Bisquick). But then, while I was in the store, I saw hamburgers and got those to make instead. I made up the chicken anyway and figure we can have chicken and dumplings tonight :)

After a scrumptious dinner, I got back to packing up the dining room. I was aaalllmooostt done, when be shut off all the lights and dragged me off to bed. It was 9:00pm, but the kids were at Grandma Bee's and I didn't have a headache tonight... ;) Alas, that boy is worth it...but I wish I could have at least finished up in the dining room of doom first. It would have done so much for my sense on accomplishment. Oh well, there's always tonight while he is at practice. I tend to get a lot more done when he is gone. I usually get a lot more done when everyone is gone. Hence, why tonight the kids will spend the majority of it in their rooms. Cleaning. "C"'s was supposed to be done by Monday evening when I got home. That was her chore for the day. I got home, her room hadn't been touched, and she was gone. At Grandma and Grandpa's for three days so they could work in a visit with her mom on Tuesday....

If it's not enough that I am packing and moving at home, I now have to pack and move at work! One of our co-workers quit because she was moving to D.C., and I have been asked to switch cubicles. So, today is the day for that. I am still 50/50 on how I feel about it. Oh well. Change of scenery. Roll with the punches. Or at least try to anyway. I think I am going to be ok with is though. Gives me a chance to reorganize and now I'm at least physically part of the group. At least I will know what the hell is going on most of the time.

So that's essentially it. It looks as though Bee and I are going to be moving the weekend of Aug 1th. Walt needs to meet with his lawyer and draw up a lease and paint our kitchen and we have to get the first months rent together. We have the security deposit and most of the first months rent, but bee had a financial woe earlier in the week that took some of that money. Oh well. Shit happens, yes?

I did manage to get the whole dining room and 3/4 of the kitchen packed before running out of boxes. That is super frustrating because I really want to pack the rest of this weekend...but I guess it's ok because now I have to wait another two weeks. Blah...

My Day Book #19

Today is...
July 28th, 2010

Outside My Window...
Sunny and 85 Degrees. It's supposed to hit 90 today. But then, just in time for when I am supposed to spend the day swimming with Young Miss Caitlyn, it's only going to be in the mid 70's.

I am Thinking...
about the house. As Usual. Now, it's because Walt was talking about handing us the keys August 1st and we still have little to nothing done. I came home, cooked dinner, ate, and then hit the dinning room of doom last night. I will say, I gave it two good hours until, out of nowhere, a migraine struck, knocking me out of commission for the night. I was bummed. It was only 9pm. However, in that 2 hours, I CLEANED the dinning room of doom, AND got it 3/4 of the way packed. However, the only thing TO pack in there is the Hutch with the dishes and whatnot in it. Some of which are being stacked up in a corner for the Ex's parents to take. Forgive me, but I don't really feel like cooking a nice Thanksgiving dinner and serving it on HER wedding china and eat it with HER good silver. No thanks. I'll get my own, thank you.

I am thankful for...
This brownie I am eating and cup of delicious coffee I am drinking. Still have the slightest throb from my migraine. Not enough to do something about, but still there enough to be a slight annoyance.

What I have learned this week...
Bee is as stresses about this moving and packing thing as me. However, we handle it differently. I stress, stress, stress. Make a plan. Stress. Then, I execute said plan and when I can see progress, I feel better. Bee gets so overwhelmed, he doesn't know where to start, so he ignores it hoping it will take care of itself. With me around, it will, and I need to learn to either let things lie until he is forced to take care of it, or stay on him until he deals with it. Neither sound appealing to me. In fact, both sound down right irritating, but unless I want to spend my life doing everything hard or unpleasant on my own.....I gotta nip this in the bud.

I am wearing...
Jeans, Black flowy top, black sweater and sandals.

I am creating...
an organized mess from packing....

I am going...
to be spending a lot of time putting things in boxes over the next week or so.

I am reading...
July issue of Cosmo.

I am hoping...
To get some serious ambition and kick our butts into gear on packing. I am so sick of taking about it. Stressing about it, and doing it. I can't wait until it's done.

I am hearing...
my space heater running under my desk. I'm not normal.

Around the House...
I am looking at everything and stressing out. There is so.much.crap. in that house. Then, I think about my apartment. It's only 585 SQ FT....so not too much is there...but still. It's at least another evening devoted to just my place. Then, last night I went out into Bee's garage to put something out there and almost fainted. I forgot all the shit, and I do mean shit, that is in that garage. It wouldn't be so bad if it was all stuff to be pitched, but there's stuff we want to keep intermingled....ugh...oy-vey. And, I told "C" to clean her room Monday during the day when she was home all day. I get home Monday night, kiddos are at Bee's in-laws for a week or two to go camping and her room is an absolute mess. Still. Sometimes I want to just throw my hands up and cry.

One of my Favorite things this week...
Cedar Point. By far. I forgot how much I love that place. I want to go back for their Halloweekends celebration. However, maybe without the kiddos. Not that I don't want them there with us, but we can ride all the rides we want without worrying about what to do with them.

A Picture Thought...
Saturday night, after the Game. It's me (please forgive my appearance. It was hot and I was outside in the humidity most of the day), BESTFRIEND, and Young Miss Caitlyn. BESTFRIEND got his name because one day at practice I offered him a brownie and he told me he loved me. It was his second practice with the team ever. Haha! He is really a sweet guy and one of my favorite on the team. His real name is Alan Cephus, but we just call him "Cephus". He is a one the the "play makers" on the team. This guy could have done some great things in College Football, if not the Pros. Hopefully, he'll make it back!

It's the little things...

On my way into to work this morning, I saw one old guy knock another old guy out. Seriously. I was stuck in traffic on the highway and they were pulled off to the side of the road. They were yelling and pointing and yelling some more. One old guy (And by old, I mean, they were like in their 70's) goes to get in his car to leave and the other said something. He promptly shut his door, stormed over to the other old guy, got in his face for a second, then popped him right in his nugget. Old guy #2 crumpled to the ground as Old guy #1 got in his car and drove off. Old guy #1 got up, got in his car, and drove off too.

Is stuff like this that lets me know God still loves me :D

You can't make this stuff up...

(SIDE NOTE: Happy 100th post, to ME! :D )

I am starting to think I need a vacation from my weekends. Thank God I can come back to work! It may be boring here with not much to do, but at least there is sanity here...and consistency :)

Friday started off with me getting home to find no Bee or kiddos. No big deal because Bee cashes his check on Fridays and usually stops at the store. Sometimes he picks up dinner. I had also just spoken with him about 20 minutes before, so I was not concerned. After about 45 minutes and no text or phone call, I got worried. My phone rang and Bee told me as soon as I answered that he might need me to get him a lawyer and or a bail bondsmen.

Apparently, "J" called him frantically. She was at a "friends" house. Apparently some friend of her moms from the Kingdom Hall. Her mom dropped her off there a week ago and told "J" that this friend wanted her to live with them and go to school with her daughter. "J" knows them from "church", but is not close with them or anything. "J" told her mom that she had decided to live with us, so she wasn't going to live with these people. Her mom protested and said she'd have a better life and better education with people who think like them (IE: Jehovah Witnesses). "J" agreed, for peace keeping reasons to try it for a week and make her decision then. In the mean time, her mom was hiding her from us and did not inform us of "J" going to live with other people who weren't family ("J"'s mom would not be living there). She was also not telling "J" in her daily conversations with her that we were calling and trying to get a hold of her. When "J" asked about what we thought, she was told "Oh, they haven't even called to check on you. See, they don't care".

"J" was getting daily lectures and pressure from this "friend" to make up her mind and live there. She doesn't do well with pressure and demands. They ended up getting into a fight and "J" asked to leave. The friend told her she wasn't allowed to leave because like it or not, THIS was her home. They were her family. No one else wanted her. Her dad and I just want her for babysitting "C" and "Little Man". She asked to call her dad and was refused. She finally made it to the phone and called Bee. He asked her where she was (Thank GOD he knows his way around this state like a blind man knows his own house) and he went and got her. When he pulled up with Grandma Bee (Thank GOD he thought to take her or else he MIGHT have ended up in jail), the "friend" of "J"'s mom came out and started cursing out Bee and and Grandma Bee. Telling them, in front of "J" and the other two kiddos how they were horrible people. They were all going to hell. "C" and "Little Man's Mom" was in prison, she was going to hell for stealing from her false God and believing in a false God, and that Bee and them would join her for eternity. Also, that "J" (who emotionally isn't all that stable because of her mom) is the reason her daughter is now suicidal because "J" isn't going to be her "sister". Also, that Bee was kidnapping "J" and she was calling the Sheriff.

Bee snatched "J", restrained Grandma Bee from beating that bitch's ass, and they left. He went to the Sheriff's office and told them what was going on. They told him as long as he has Shared custody and felt his daughter was in jeopardy, he was fine and wouldn't be arrested or anything. "J's" mom finally called back. Claimed to be "upset" at how the "friend" reacted and if "J" was uncomfortable, she should have called her and she would have went and gotten her instantly (yeah, right...)

I told Bee, JW's are a cult. Even the most disliked member is still a member and therefore, you risk life, limb, and freedom to protect each other (not to mention, they are taught they don't have to recognize our court or judicial system because it's from the Debil.) If "J's" mom gets too spooked and is given access to "J", she can hide her so deep and so far from us, we won't be able to find her. I told him this 3 weeks ago. I think he is starting to believe me after this stunt. I contacted one of the best lawyers around. He handles the owner of company's legal issues both professional and personal (My boss only has the BEST of everything...) he agreed to be on standby if we need anything. Bee and "J"'s mom talked. "J" has made it clear she is living with us. I hope that takes care of the issue. If not, I told Bee that the kids are number one and we will go deep into debt if we have to in order to protect them. They're worth it.

That was Friday. Saturday we had Grandma Bee's 70th Birthday celebration. We did dinner at a Restaurant called "Mangia! Mangia!". It was nice :) Then, we headed out to Bee's game. We got our behinds handed to us. 50 something to 14. Our head coach got pissed at Bee and mid game threw his clipboard AT Bee and stomped off saying he quit. Bee coached the rest of the game. THAT's when we got our 14 points. Afterwards, the kids went to Stephen and Jen's while we all went to the local bar that sponsors our team for all you can eat wings and salad with the other team (we're all friends...which made this loss extra hard...especially since there was a "trophy" on the line. )

Miss T and her husbnd. Her husband plays for the opposing team.

Sunday, we hung out for a little bit and then headed over to Tucker's house for his son's Graduated party. It was HUGE. There was a band and everything. Tucker can really throw a party! Bee and I always joke that he Runs the city. I mean, he is really big in the PTA, he's sits on the board of all of his kid's sports teams, He is a business owner in the city AND sits on the City Council. It's a small town. Everyone knows and likes him. In fact, one night after a game, Bee got pulled over for making a "lazy turn" and having a loud muffler. He told the cop we were on our way to Tuckers (we were) and the Cop was like, "OH! Rick?! Well, just tighten up those turns and get that muffler fixed!" haha!. I think the whole town was at the party. Good Food, Good friends, and a great time. It was one busy weekend and as always, Monday came way too soon...

Boys are Dumb...

Seriously.

We move in less than a week. Nothing is packed. Nothing is sorted. The house is a mess. Bee wants to take one of the only free nights this week he has (tonight)and go golfing with his friends. He was supposed to have a coaches clinic last night but decided he was "too tired" to go. He plopped himself down in front of his XBOX and asked me what's for dinner. I asked him if he went through his clothes after work like he said he was going to. That was the chore he gave himself when I said "we need to start sorting and packing". He said no but that "we'll get to it". I asked if we could start "getting to it" after dinner since he stayed home.

By the end of the night I had two small white garbage bags full of Bee's clothes that he A)Doesn't wear, B)Don't Fit or C) are too "ugly" and or "out of style" and one Bee who was pretty darn proud of himself for "working" on his "night of relaxation".

Ahem.
I'm going to go shoot myself in the face now....
