My Daybook #26

Today is...
September 15th! It's "C's" 10th Birthday!

Outside My Window...
mid 60's and sunny. Looks like fall, and starting to feel like fall too!

I am Thinking...
about how I am going to spend some time with my Mommy for her birthday! I am taking her birthday off (Friday) and Tomorrow after work, I am driving out to scoop her up. Then we will stop off, grab a sheet Pizza for "C's" team and head to practice. After watching 15 kids destroy a sheet pizza, we will take her home. Then, Mommy and I will sit at my table cackling like hens while Bee shakes his head and smiles while playing his game. Then, Friday, we will get the kids off to school, then putz around. Then head out ti miscellaneous barn to look around then to the SUNSET GRILL!! Mmmmm....After that, it's home for awhile until we head out to the Improv! Then, we'll take mommy home, and I'll spend the rest of the weekend with Bee and kiddos!



I am thankful for...
"C"'s birth ten years ago today.


What I have learned this week...
that I put too much pressure upon myself and when I "fail" it's really only failure in my eyes...no one else even notices!

I am wearing...
Jeans, Brown sandal/heels, brown and orange tank top, Green DPT Necklace, and orangish/brown sweater/hoodie.

I am creating...
a list of things to do with my mom this weekend

I am going...
to have fun this weekend. Bee and I are going to spend some time together, some time with the kids, and celebrate "C" and my mom's birthday!

I am reading...
my book of bills that are or will be due shortly. Ugh, it makes my head spin!

I am hoping...
to have a good balance of rest and things to do this weekend. I am also hoping my mom and "C" have good birthdays!

I am hearing...
Ice Cube's "Today was a good day" in my head...a facebook status made me think of that. HA!

Around the House...
"C's" Birthday today. She's 10! I made her a special lunch for today with a special treat (Two big soft batch cookies) and a note. She got a card this morning from all of us, and I made everyone a big breakfast of Bacon, Pancakes, and cheese Danish in honor of her special day. I got a cake for tonight, but no idea what I am going to make. Probably leftovers ha! She is getting pizza for her team tomorrow and we are having a BBQ for her next Sunday. Plus, there's the whole present thing. That girl deserves at least one. I just hope we can afford it all! ha! We have to finish paying September bills that are due at the middle of the month...then start getting ready for October bills (two biggest bills, rent and my car payment, are due the first!) Not to mention, my car has been making a noise for about 2 months now. Bee says, "I think it's your breaks. They are probably getting to be ready to be changed". Well, his suspicions were confirmed yesterday when I applied the breaks while pulling into a parking space and they growled at me. Grreeaat. Because I drive soo much(48 miles a day round trip just to work and back), I will most likely need roters too. I think one of my back ones is bent anyhow. Good news is, Bee can change them for me, so I just have to buy the parts...but that's still easily $100.00. I just pray God sends some money our way....because on top of all that, kids need to eat.
