They Say it's your Birthday....

HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY, "C"!!!!!

10 years ago, today, "C" made her first appearance to the world. I was not there. Nor, did I know it was taking place, yet, 10 years later, it's a very important date for me :) Well, actually, I was around for her birthday last year too.


Anyway, I would just like to say that the world has been blessed for the last now, 10 years because this beautiful girl has been around. So, in honor of her 10th birthday, I will list the top ten reasons why I am better off knowing this little girl and having her in my life.

Top Ten Reasons why the I am Better Off Knowing "C":

10: She is the most well behaved 10 year old I know. I have rarely ever seen even an eye-roll from her.

9: She does the best "Shooter McGavern" impersonation around!

8. She is so very helpful. Always volunteering to do extra chores, help her brother/sister/friend/adults/perfect strangers/anyone in need.

7: She loves with her whole heart, unconditionally.

6: She is silly, wacky, zaney, knows how to have a good time, and is the life of the party!

5: She is never afraid to try anything new, or do what society says she "can't" based on the fact she is a girl.

4: She is one of the smartest kids I know. She loves school, and loves to learn.

3: She is fair, plays nice, helps settle arguments amongst peers, and family members.

2: She knows right from wrong, and will usually tell you if you are "walking the line a little too closely"

And the #1 Reason why I am better off knowing"C" is: My life would have a huge empty chunk in it without her laughter, smile, and wonderful personality to brighten things up!

Happy birthday little BIG girl! I hope the "Double Digits" are good to you, and this is your best year yet. Keep loving. Keep laughing. Keep being the sweet, smart, funny, crazy, goofy, loving, well behaved, overall "GREAT"
kid you are!!! Dad and I love you!
